Jacob is a Scoliosis Rehabilitation Provider who looks after patients in our ScoliCare Sydney South Clinic.
What attracted you to your role at ScoliCare?
I was attracted to the role at ScoliCare because of my developing interest in musculoskeletal rehabilitation coming out of my Master’s degree. I found that the role of a Scoliosis Rehabilitation Therapist at ScoliCare fit my goals and my skill set very well. I was immediately astounded by the very professional environment centred around patient care and the best outcomes for patients. The focus was totally about the patients being treated ..read more

Adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) are often at risk of progression of their curve to the point of surgical recommendation. Surgery is typically recommended for AIS when the curves reach about 45 degrees (Negrini et al, 2018). What attracted you to your role at ScoliCare? or Why did you decide to work in the area of scoliosis?
As an Exercise Physiologist I have always been interested in exercise intervention in chronic condition management. Kienan is a Scoliosis Rehabilitation Provider who looks after patients in our ScoliCare Sydney North Clinic.
What attracted you to your role at ScoliCare? or Why did you decide to work in the area of scoliosis?
The idea of becoming an expert on a niche condition was very appealing to me. Exercise physiologists are obviously well educated on the importance of exercise for a wide variety of health conditions, however the opportunity to specialise in the treatment of scoliosis, kyphosis and the spine in general was very attractive. Not only this, but working with people and helping others has ..read more
