The trade deadline is less than a week away (July 30th at 6pm ET), but the Cincinnati Reds are telling people that they just aren’t sure which direction they will be going. The Cincinnati Reds scored early and often in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader. They scored multiple runs in three of the first four innings to build up a 9-4 lead that never changed as Cincinnati’s bullpen came out and dominated the Atlanta Braves as they helped secure a series win.

I just saw my first national story tipping the Reds from “potential sellers” to “sellers,” which is concerning, because it means this team is no longer disappointing to just us. We’re sellers to the point where other people are noticing, and that is not a good sign for the outcome of this season.
It was where I found the headline that was the most upsetting. It wasn’t even on a sports feed, but Microsoft Edge, which I did not open on purpose (nobody opens Microsoft Edge on purpose.)

After snapping a four-game losing streak Monday night, the Cincinnati Reds (48-53) seek back-to-back wins over the Atlanta Braves (54-45) on Tuesday night. It will be a tall task for the Redlegs, as veteran lefty starter and 2024 National League All-Star Chris Sale will be on the mound for the Braves
