I know cigarettes are awful for people with Crohn’s but I want to know are there safe alternatives. Is it the act of just smoking anything or are nicotine free vapes safe?

Hello all!
I have been struggling greatly with occasional bowel blockages, many of which require me to be bed-bound with no food and/or hospitalized.
I feel like I am being gaslit everytime I see the doc. My tests are always portrayed to be as good or clear. I have a hard time believing this, especially considering my suspected history of blockages from adhesions created during my abdominal surgery.
Attached is a screenshot of yet another test told to me to be clear. Please someone help me interpret these words and help me decide if I need to move on to a different doctor.

Hiya hoping someone can help, I know I've asked my team before and can't remember the answer! I'm booked in for my Covid booster tomorrow, I'm due to take my Vedo injection tonight, I can't remember if I should take my Vedo on time or delay till after the vaccine, if anyone's had the same situation and can remember the advice that would be great! Many thanks!

Hello there ! Just discovered this sub ! Feels nice to have people with the same issues.
Ok so as you can read, I wonder what it would cost me to take Stellara for 1 shot every 2 months in India if I live there one day ? Would it be hard to manage to pay it at first ?
But also, how inssurances and healthcare work in India ? I'm French and completely ignorant of all that.
So the more you can help, the better it is.

Hey folks, quick one for you. (I know this is more a question for my Gastro, but won’t be seeing him for a couple weeks).
I was on Infliximab for around 9 years before having to look into alternatives as it stopped working as well as it had been. Up until the last year it was absolutely perfect, one dose every 8 weeks and I was living a normal life. Since being off it I’ve been on Stellara which hasn’t been as effective. It’s been about 3 years since the infliximab. Does anyone know or has anyone even gone back to a biologic before, or is the antibodies which build up against it permanent?

I got diagnosed with crohns at 12 and I’m 19 now and I’ve never taken any medication of any sort from doctors due to the harsh side affects. Luckily I have a mild case of crohns in my lower intestines so I’m not too bad off. The only things I take are CBD oil, boswellia, turmeric, fish oil, multivitamin and iron supplement. I’m just wondering is there any risk I’m taking by not going with biologics or steroids?

A little while ago I made a post about how I was struggling to get on Humira- I was finally approved! It only took 7 months and one bowel resection lol. What are people’s experiences with it? What should I brace myself for? Thank you guys in advance ?

Just a silly post! We have 2 bathrooms in our house- the guest bath, and the primary bath. Both have a squatty potty, but my hubby (he doesn’t have Crohn’s) and I both agree that the guest bath has the better toilet. It’s just a little bit taller than the one in the primary bath and the room is bigger so it’s just slightly more comfortable. What about you all?
