Are you brushstroke challenged? If you've ever found it challenging to control the amount of water on the surface of the paper, or why the brushstroke devolves, or maybe why it looks stiff and stuck, not only is it about the amount of water you're using, it could be your brush. Pencil linesWhen it comes to pencil lines, many artists struggle with what to do with them, should they be seen, are pencil lines bad, does it matter, you don't know what to think. Some artists have an aversion to them, while others feel it reveals more about the artist’s creative process. In my opinion pencil lines have the ability to connect the viewer more to the artist, but when it comes to some painting competitions (depending on the organization) showing pencils lines may not be acceptable.
