There’s this thing called a stage’. It’s a French culinary term for a working interview. I’ve never worked in the food industry before. When I say “Culinary Arts” I mean making juice and smoothies for you beautiful people. So my working interview was really BAD!! There’s this big walk in cooler. And I was asked to get something out of it. I went in. I didn’t know how to get out. I was looking for the door knob or handl ..read more

While the Keto diet does represent a restriction on many foods, it is also cutting out a lot of food groups and choices that aren’t doing much to benefit your body to begin with. This high-fat, low-carb and moderate-protein diet allows your body to turn to fat for ener ..read more

As the world wades through this crisis, I wanted to take a moment and let you know where we are as a company. We know Evolve is a large part of the lives of our clients, our staff, and vendors. We also know uncertainty only harbors fear and panic. I have gotten lots of emails from lots of companies I do business with about what they are doing to make things safe, the extra steps they are taking. And honestly, we are already doing all those things. Cleaning everything, wiping contact and non-contact surfaces down, sanitizing, wearing gloves, washing hands often, sending staff home when sick. So we get up and clean out all the Christmas candy, buy some low-fat cheese and read blog much like this one that says some wonder “diet” will be the one that really works. We made it. Hard to believe but we’ve started not only a new year but also a new decade. And, as that clock rolled over from 11:59 to midnight, a lot of us began to think about what we can do to improve our lives in 2020. The weather has cooled off and with it getting dark so early, it is easy to get into cozy mode.
