Norton in Hales CC 1st team continued their unbelievable season by easily winning after being bowled out cheaply themselves. The 2nd team kept their promotion push going with a fine win away at Endon CC 2nd X1. 1st team elected to bat first at home to Rode Park and Lawton CC and it was not long before that decision looked a bad one. On a tricky wicket the going was very slow and once the first wicket fell, the rest went fast. Apart from Jack Furnival (23) and Jamie Evans (14) no-one got going. All out for 76. The reply was as exciting as it gets for the home team and supporters. Wicket after w ..read more
