I understand this may not be the correct place to ask for advice but I’ll ask anyway.
Just PCS’d to Pearl and having a difficult time finding a place to stay permanently.
Wanted to ask if anyone here knew of any forum or how to better search out a roommate.
Was not expecting it to be this difficult to find an affordable place as a single E-6.
Thank you in advance.

Additional details about her service is the 70s and in the Caribbean and something called TSS clearance. She speaks fondly of her service when it comes up, so I wanted to include that background in the card. The card is going to have a picture of her favorite Disney character in a pinup style uniform, and I was thinking something along the lines of "Bon Voyage, Sailor!" but thought maybe you guys would have a better idea?

I heard they are bringing back the BCA waiver if you score an Excellent on the PFA. Anyone else hear anything like this?

I have a total of 11 years service right now (5 enlisted / 6 commissioned) and I'm leaning toward getting out of the Navy. I certainly don't want to go back to a submarine and neither does my wife, so staying as an 1120 is off the table. The way I figure, that leaves me with two broad options:
Get out of the Navy. Get some kind of civ / contractor / industry job and, hopefully, sta ..read more

I am towards the end if my contract and am leaning on getting out. Trying to get a plan together but I'm worried if said plan falls apart and I rejoin. Im wrapping up my sea duty, will I have to go back to sea duty or would I go to my shore?

I submitted a PRT Waiver a few months ago since my treating provider recommended it. However, I received an email just today that it was denied because they said that my provider “did it incorrectly” by not including the start and end dates of my LLD/LIMDU. The command wants me to get everything resigned along with a new LIMDU paperwork, which will take about a week to be reviewed and I cannot make the appointment until I have that paperwork. The waivers are due in two weeks and I am not sure if everything will be completed in time since they decided to inform me last minute when I turned the ..read more
