When I make my oreo Crust and slice into it, the crust starts to crumbles and makes a messy cut. I tried a no bake method where you just freeze the crust and a baked method where i froze it afterwards.
The receipt calls for 24 oreos ground and 4tbs of. melted butter. If you all have any tips that would be great.

I’m 19 and I have two options to take
Be promoted to junior sous at current restaurants new location (casual upscale bistro with a venue for events)
Demi chef at Chef Massimo Bottura restaurant (not the one in Italy, new restaurant)
1 Will pay alot more at least double/triple
Which one is better for the resume and a better stepping stone for my career?

Hoping for suggestions here. My current coats are great, but they're only about as long as a t shirt. I'm 5'11" but my torso is super long and makes up like half of that height. I wear a large and I've tried an XL, but it's too big in the shoulders and arms. Does anyone know of a company making "tall" coats?

Hello Chefs! Thanks for all of your lovely comments and tips! I had to use a paint scraper to chisel off layer by layer, then acid and grill brick worked a treat! I’m struggling with the back and some corners if anyone can help please haha ?? ? Someone did recommend a blowtorch which I’m yet to try…It’s been a long busy week training a new Sous, writing paperwork, daily opening/closing checklists, recipes! All tips welcome please and thank you!
Hope the weekend wasn’t too bad for you all!

I work at McDonald’s, mostly in the kitchen where the floor is always wet or greasy. I use to wear regular black vans with Dr.Schols insoles, but they weren’t comfy and I was sliding all the time. I also bought the non slip crocs, they were okay at first. I usaully leave my shoes on the porch because they are always covered in grease and crumbs . But the Florida sun basically distorted there shape all the way, I can still wear them but it made them way more uncomfortable. I have had this happen to sandals and such before and they usually go back to shape after a couple of wears but not the cr ..read more

As we are familiar with, burn scars come with the trade. Just wondering if anyone uses anything to heal them a bit better?
