I’m an in network provider with Humana. Other Medicare insurers Im in network with are easily billed and reimbursed for Medicare pts with icd 10 code m54.50, but Humana rejects this code. I can’t seem to find out if there are secondary codes or modifiers that are specific to humana that are causing the issue. Anyone have success billing Chronic lbp through them and have suggestions? Thanks

I am looking to find an acupuncturist. I have acupuncture recently and it was largely disappointing, but I believe it can help me.
I want to find an acupuncturist who has a top reputation. Where do I start? I am from England.

Hey acu friends. For those of you who accept Kaiser and bill through ASH, have you all had a backlog of payments from mid Feb to about April? We have about 125 claims just sitting there in “process” and we finally called ASH and they said “oh yeah, Kaiser had a security incident” but they never reached out to alert anyone or gave any update on when things will process.
Weird enough, Chiropractic claims paid fine during this time. Curious who else is experiencing this ?
I can’t wait for the MNR nightmare of denials since claims later have paid out of order, so we will likely have several patie ..read more

The lady stuck a needle between my big toe and middle toe on the top of my foot. It hurt when she stuck it in and a lot of her needles hurt. Weeks later the area is still sore/numb. This was the first appointment. Did she do it correctly? I had no problems whatsoever with my foot prior. Asking because I have another appointment this week and idk if I should cancel it.

About a year & a half ago, I lived in a place that had mold in between the walls. I would get sinus infection after sinus infection. Now that I’ve moved out, (it’s been 10 months) I still have excessive mucus (sticky) it clogs at least one nostril at a time. (Some days both)
I have done some research on other symptoms I’m having and might have a spleen Qi deficiency that’s contributing to the mucus.
Can acupuncture help with this? My main Acupuncturist specializes more in fertility and didn’t seem to know where / how to help with my sinuses

I have a laundry list of spinal issues, lower back and neck, as well as deltiod tendonitis and carpal tunnel in both wrists.
The muscles in my neck, collar bones area and shoulders (under the shoulder blade) have extremely tender spots due to knots.
Would acupuncture release these knots? The spasms cause almost daily head/neck aches.
Thanks for your help!

I am looking for guidance on my next steps. I am dealing with peripheral neuropathy brought on by chemo. It’s not painful, but the numbness in hands and feet are annoying. I was hoping acupuncture would help. I’ve had about a dozen acupuncture sessions and have not noticed much improvement. My acupuncturist says I likely won’t see much while I am getting chemo treatments. While I can afford the $95 sessions, I am wondering if I am wasting my money… at least until I am done with chemo. At this point it’s hard to know if it would have been worse if I hadn’t had my acupuncture sessions. Any guid ..read more
