GOOOOOO CHIEFS!!! Valentine's Day Fun AND Ash Wednesday ​(you'll see ashes on foreheads in some of the pictures).  Heart, hearts, and more hearts. Sorting, counting, comparing, and graphing. Community Helpers Week started with Officer Heuser! We love when our book buddies stay and do fun stuff. Board games, crafts, and snowflakes projects were just a few things we did with them.  The LaFayette County Health Dept came to teach us about our bodies and how to keep them healthy. We love it when these ladies come.  Dress-up days, friends in other grades, and games in the gym- ​Oh the perks of a small school.  A big skill we worked on this month was measurement. ​Independent Play is a GREAT thing! Independent play fosters creativity. When children are encouraged to solve problems on their own, they come up with endless possibilities. We play board games quite frequently in preschool. Games teach so many skills. ​Our current goal is teaching "winning and losing". It's a lesson everyone needs to learn.
