I will be staying on Moorea (smaller island right next to Tahiti in French Polynesia) from September to November this year, and I was wondering if I should get a dry box for my camera gear. I know of friends in Singapore who have a dry box for their gear due to the humidity, so would I need the same for Moorea? If anyone has experience with this I would really appreciate the input.

My xs20 has a 2.5mm trs port that can be used for audio or remote. I’m building a little video setup and like to have a side handle, as I shoot action sports and move around a lot. I can’t find a side handle that also lets me reach the shutter button. If I were to get a remote handle, is there a way to also use a mic? Do you guys have any other solutions or opinions?

I'm on a tight budget (500-600 USD) and trying to get my hands on my first ever camera! I'll be using the camera mostly for for family use i e. Portrait photos and sometimes landscape photos but nothing professional.
Help me decide between Canon Rebel T7 (dslr) vs Panasonic Lumix G7 (mirrorless)
P.S. It's hard for me to increase my budget.
Canon
Panasonic

I have a canon rebel t7, and am going to Yellowstone in 2 weeks. I want to know what lens I could get that has the reach for wildlife, but also can be used for landscape pictures?

Looks like it has a sticker on the other side that you can remove to stick it onto something. Any idea what it is and what it’s used for? Camera bag is a DecoGear sling backpack.

Anyone know where's the best place to buy film in Japan? I'm new to film photography and recently bought a Canon EOS Kiss III L (Eos 300/Rebel 2000) and I'm looking for some cinestill 800 for night time photos. Also any recommendations for daytime film? Would I be best off buying from BicCamera/Yodobashi Camera/Yamada denki, or other places? Or is amazon my best/cheapest option?

I need that camera and $300 is what I have for a camera body right now, I’ll even have to wait on a lens.
