World #3 Diego Elias of Peru confirmed his top-seeded status by defeating Egypt’s Mazen Hesham 3 games to 1 in a thrilling championship match at the 2024 Canadian Men’s Open presented by AirSprint Private Aviation. The University and College Championships, hosted at The Club at White Oaks in Niagara-on-the-Lake, was held this past weekend (March 1st to 3rd) for the 2024 rendition of the tournament, bringing together athletes from post-secondary institutions across Canada. In the Men’s Open draw, Maximilien Godbout from Université du Québec à Montréal battled hard throughout the tournament and beat Mohamed Kamal in the finals to secure the victory.
