GET UP exercise program from UAH and UAB

The University of Alabama in Huntsville and UAB have received a grant for a home-based exercise program for persons with Parkinson’s and are currently recruiting eligible candidates to participate. The Guidelines for Exercise Training in Underactive Parkinson’s, or GET UP, is an exercise program designed to assist PD patients through home-based aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises.  The program includes one-on-one conversations to guide PD patients through the program.
