For parents, day to day life is already filled with surprises, but could food allergies be one of them? A story recently ran in The Mercury News, takes a look at two Bay Area families as they manage their kid’s food allergies. According to statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, food allergies in children have increased 18 percent between 1997 and 2007.
