Hillary Younglove is a local artist and art teacher whose growing interest in larger- than-life puppets led to her creation of Trompin’ Manikins. This puppetry group has offered several local workshops that have delighted and engaged the community: bringing art, theater, and culture to people of all ages.

Just got back from a fabulous 10 days at the New England Puppet Intensive.
Playing in one of David Lane's Puppets
I highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in learning a variety of basic puppetry skills and movement exercises. This intensive workshop met from early morning until late at night.
Here we are in one of the many exercises we practiced. With a simple article of clothing and a larval mask, created using a plaster mold and latex, we learned how to work on focus and character.
