Jazz Artist in Residence Brad Goode returns for two performances Friday, February 22 in Macon. At 7:30, he will play with Mercer's Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Monty Cole. Featured Poster Artist Mary Wain Ellison is a resident of Riverdale Drive. She has a degree in fine arts and has been painting for nearly fifty years as well as sharing art experiences with students in the Macon-Bibb school system. Look for three outstanding food trucks at
the Oct. 20 Jazz and Arts on Riverdale festival from 12 to 6 PM. Returning for their second year are Sofrito Fusion and Pinky's Shaved Ice, both crowd favorites last year. New this year is Taste of New Orleans, featuring cajun and Nawlins Soul food. Plan to eat well again this Fall while browsing the artist vendors and listening to live jazz.
