It looks as though this year may be the last reunion unless we can round up a few more survivors. Last year there were 31 with 9 OHs. Age range from 92 to 75. At a very rough estimate maybe 500-600 students and instructors must have passed through. They must be a tough lot to have survived the wartime huts and the Northumberland weather so I hope there are quite a few of you still around. This year it will be on 23rd October in the RAF Club. Hello fellow Aviators, as rumours say, Luxair changed their entry procedures recently and switched from the DLR to Mollymawk psychometrics. From what I've heard, also the process of the interview etc should've changed but I don't have any further details. Is there anybody who recently (guess they must have changed it in March or April 2024) sat the Mollymawk and or did the whole selection process? This story came up on my news feed and this bit thst caught my attention was the aircraft circling for 5hrs to burn/dump fuel. I know SIN - LHR is a long distance flight and the A380 is on the 'likes a drink' side, but is 5hrs the norm? Seems a long time.
