Taking grandkids 8 and 6 to Florida want ti do a day trip from the Orlando area to Daytona Beach or Coco beach the last time I was in Daytona it was full of drunks and drugs. Has it changed any. Getting up to Oregon near the tail end of a trip from San Francisco to Portland. We will be in Crater Lake National Park on the Wednesday morning, and we’ll be flying out of Portland on the Friday evening. Which of the following should we do? Drive from Crater Lake to Bend, Oregon, and spend the Wednesday evening in Bend before heading to Portland the next day. Drive directly to Portland from Crater Lake (through Eugene and Salem). I'll be riding my motorcycle from North Augusta, SC to Phoenix, AZ. I have 8 days and so far my itinerary is SC -> Montgomery, AL -> New Orleans, LA -> Galveston, TX -> Somewhere west of San Antonio, TX -> Marfa, TX -> Silver City, NM --> Phoenix. I'm leaving on Monday May 13th and so far everything is pretty much wide open. Just looking to hit the road and stay off the Interstates as much as possible.
