Hello! I have been wanting my hormones and getting tested for PCOS for a while and my doctor said no. I never got my hormones tested before and GP said no when I proposed it. I have had my thyroid tested and it’s normal. Hi, i just got a panel of lab/hormone back and the only thing that was out of range was testosterone. The normal range is 0-1.8 and i was slightly above. Mine was 1.9. All others like LH, FSH were in normal range. What were your testosterone like? Are all other hormones suppose to be normal in PCOS? If so, overall testosterone was just a minor elevation. I’ve had hair growing on my neck for the past 5 years maybe. It started off as one and grew very slowly. Over the past few months the hair has been growing increasingly quickly. I’m 23 and just diagnosed. I realise that this question probably gets posted hundreds of times but reassurance is still greatly appreciated. My doctor reassured me that getting pregnant is 100% possible and that I might just need extra help, but that also he’s seen several patients who got pregnant spontaneously so contraception is still important.
