A good friend of mine, Jermaine, is probably as big a Prince fan as I am. I was fortunate to see him on his last ever tour, back in 2015 however Jermaine was not so lucky. Boo and I recently met up in London to go to an exhibition at Somerset House. The exhibition was entitled ‘Cute’ and was well, based on all things cute! Meeting up at Euston (not my normal stop) due to train strikes and works on the line, Boo came across and met me and we hopped into a black cab for the journey across to Somerset House. Last year saw me attend a vintage weekend held in Doncaster. Last Years (With Hair!) I had never been before and was a little apprehensive as I didn’t know if there would be very many people that I would know. Back in December 2023, ITV hosted The Royal Variety Performance 2023. As usual, I sat and watched it with half an eye; I was either writing, cross-stitching or doing an jigsaw on my mobile phone at the same time and it is one of those programmes that you do not have to study. As my followers on Instagram know, I had a tattoo done when I was in Bali to commemorate my travels so far and plan those still to come. The basis of the tattoo was a black line drawing with the word ‘Explore’ joined into it and a black plane coming off it. Having an Adventure Whilst there I also had a little black icon to signify Bali; in this case a pair of temple gates. I have spoken in the past of my love for Neowalk products. It was around 18 months when I got my first stick; The Gatsby. A clear acrylic stick with a question mark shaped handle which had thousands of golden sparkles inside. When I was away in Bali with Boo and the Eurobitches, I was introduced to the amazing creations of JessaKae by Rachel when she shared one of her dresses with the wider group. She had brought it for the photoshoot that we had on our first full day together and was very gracious in letting me try it on (and take some fab photos in it). Last Thursday saw me fill up my car with a large suitcase. several large reusable shopping bags of food and drink, and my wheelchair.
