1) Alright dude, thanks for taking the time to chat with us can you tell us how things got started for you and what crew you rep? How did you coin the name Rise One? I started painting graffiti in ’98, about 25 years ago. I lived across some train tracks so I saw painted trains passing by every day. This caught my eye at an early age and got me interested in doing graffiti myself. I wrote a couple of different names and finally kept Rise one as the letters just seemed to work well for me. This must have been around the time I met up with my crew Aerosol Kings (Aerosol Kids back in the da ..read more

1) Alright dude we know you’ve been in the game for a while but for those not familiar with you, tell us how things got started for you and what crew you rep? How did you coin the name Revenge? Sounds ominous! I started very early in my childhood watching my older brother writing graffiti. I was influenced by him and some of the other artists I saw so I started drawing in ’96-’98 then painted my first piece in ’99.  I rep the crews: TMC ,Dieclan, BLT, & Wild Cans. I originally started writing Pheam from 97-2005 , and I was wrongfully arrested and came up with the name Revenge wh ..read more

First of all thanks for taking the time to do this interview, to start can you introduce yourself what you do? How did you choose the name zipgun? I’m a photographer, designer, and publisher currently living in Los Angeles. I’m best known for my kanji eggshell stickers and a long-running booklet series I started in 2009 that documents graffiti and urban life in major cities. I came up with the name when I was living in Sacramento. At the time I was working an office job and started experimenting with a MS Publisher on my work laptop. I taught myself how to set up a basic layout for a digest-s ..read more

1) Alright so thanks for taking the time out to do this interview, can we get a brief run down of who you are and how long have you been in the game? What crew do you rep and how did you get the name Jimbo? I write Jimboe, from New England, USA. Thats the upper east coast corner of the States for those that don’t know.  I started with spray paint in 1999, but had no idea what I was doing. Scribbling with stock caps, just being a dumb kid.  I’d say around 2002-ish is when I really got into writing. I had moved away from my hometown and been living in a big city. Thats when I ..read more

1) Alright so first off thanks for taking the time to do this interview! How long have you been in the game, what crew do you rep and how did you get the name, Dr. Dax? I first got into graffiti in 1985 and made it my life mission at that moment. I studied and immersed myself into the culture and by the 90s I had found my place in it. The first crew I got down in was the network crew followed by FS D30 OTR and MSK. I’m in many other crews, but those are the crews that I have kept closest to my heart through camaraderie and Chemistry.  2) Dude you are super connected within the Atlanta sc ..read more
