In & out, up & down it goes, Stop for a moment, let time slow. Follow it from nose to throat to chest, Into your belly, where stillness rests. Pause here, let the silence expand, Then release it all, feel it in your hand. From belly to chest to throat it flows, Out your nostrils, where tranquility grows. Does it favor the left or the right? Close your eyes, let go of the fight. Relax your shoulders, breathe in deep, In this moment, serenity we reap. Be present, here and now, In gratitude, let your spirit bow. For the blessings that surround your space, Step forth in abundance, with jo ..read more

Wave passing through me during Meditation

For context, I’ve been having a little trouble with finances at the moment (lost my job 5 months ago and no luck with employment) and I usually meditate to keep my feelings of uncertainty at bay seeing how I have a house/mortgage im behind on. So I was meditating today and yesterday and I’ve noticed only today that I had started feeling things I haven’t really experienced before Today- I was meditating (with a prayer in mind to my higher self and guardian angel requesting I’m given guidance on what to do next) and then when I was done with the prayer, I started just repeating in my mind “ever ..read more

How do you let go when you're in a thought loop (and you hate yourself) ?

I have a question. It's a bit rough but I need to explain otherwise I won't make myself understood. What do you do when there is a thought you REALLY don't want to let go of? In my case there is the angry thought at myself I get when I meditate, it's like "Why don't you fucking get it, just fucking let go of this thought you absolute moron", "You are a moron and you will never be happy", "you don't deserve happiness" and "What if he's right? what if I'll never get it??", "You are a complete loser" And this combination of thought creates this: - Panic - Need to prove to myself I can meditate s ..read more

When we judges others, is it always out of insecurity to make ourselves feel better about ourselves or do we just judge because we judge?

I'm probably thinking too much about that but my rational, if Im right, is that it's better to focus on letting go of self-judgements if we want to let go of judgements about others. Otherwise letting go of judgements towards others first would he like cutting off bad weeds, they just grow back. But if you let go of a self-judgement -> you dont feel insecure anymore -> you dont need to judge others anymore submitted by /u/Diligent_Employ_9386 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi! I completed the Deepak Chopra 21-day Abundance Meditation Challenge, and now I’m looking for another 21-day challenge. Does anyone have recommendations for guided meditation challenges? I enjoyed Deepak’s challenge because it was free, included writing tasks, and the meditations were short, maximum 15 minutes. submitted by /u/queenbee125 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello everyone. I have a long story with measuring my brainwaves, mostly during sleep and now also include meditation. I've documented my experiments (for example here - https://blog.kto.to/hypnodyne-zmax-vs-openbci-eeg-psg). After using some devices measuring EEG - Dreem 2, Muse, Hypnodyne ZMax, i came to using OpenBCI. Now i have 8ch and 16ch versions with custom firmware to record 1000Hz sampling rate to SD card. I've bought 20ch EEG cap, a few packs of gold cup electrodes and a lot of Ten-20 and Sigma gel. I'm going to practice meditation and record EEG simultaneously. After reading some ..read more

Meditation and prayer

I was curious to learn if anyone else prays at the end of their meditation? Recently I’ve had the realization that I do believe in God after meditating on the thought for years and now I would like to incorporate praying at the end of my sessions. I tend to lean into a religious like prayer but I don’t want to bring religion into it since I’m not religious. I see this new found belief in a source, higher power, God, etc as me wanting to have a relationship with what I think it might be. Any thoughts or advice is much appreciated. submitted by /u/LessUnsettled422 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

When season started I was giggling hearing all grown ass people making weird sound exhaling. 3 minutes in I was one of them. After a bit sides of my hands started getting numb - I think my lower legs as well (can't remember). Maybe a minute after that I felt a little high and all the inhale/ exhaling sounds made it feel like I am part of this giant orgy. I also did a lot of weird sh*t like pounding my chest, yelling F that bit*h, F both of them - covering my face with my hands, crying a bit. Overall it was a great experience - I never felt any meditation/ breath work this effective. May be th ..read more
