The Food Studies program at The New School in New York City is seeking a term instructor for its undergraduate course on Food and Film for spring semester 2023. The course will be offered online.

The Society for Visual Anthropology invites anthropological film and media makers to submit proposals for the Anti-Bias and Anti-Racist Film and Media Grant. The John Collier Jr. Award for Still Photography is awarded periodically by the Collier award committee members of the Society for Visual Anthropology (SVA) to an author or photographer whose publication, exhibit, website, or other multimedia production exemplifies the use of still photographs (both historical and contemporary) for research and communication of anthropological knowledge.
