This evening at Costco, I was waiting in my car for someone to pull out of a parking spot. The driver was reversing and didn't see me, causing him to hit my car. I expected him to take responsibility and exchange insurance information, but he surprisingly accused me of rear-ending him! My spouse's parent got life insurance on him as a child. His parent still is paying for it and insists he has to cancel it. The paperwork that was given to us all says his parent still owns the policy. As far as we know, it was never transferred over. Can my spouse cancel this or does his parent have to? Hello, Im currently on Fort Campbell military base and filing out of Christian County, KY 42223 zip. This was an auto "collision" accident. I have GEICO. So, I was parked at the barracks (apartments, basically) and a gov contractor who mows lawns hit my vehicle with an industrial lawn mower because he was backing up fast and not looking. Hail damage from last year in Texas- claim finalized and paid out months ago. I felt my insurance company’s adjustor was very fair, and he was thorough as can be, picking up numerous items damaged by the storm I did not notice. I did not contact a third party immediately to review or supplement the adjustor because I was happy with the outcome. One of these areas of damage he found was to my HVAC condenser unit’s fan protector and some other non mechanical parts of the exterior of the condenser unit.
