Well... I wanted to try it, out of curiosity and in spite of basic warnings. :) Of course, the husk is way too tough so I sliced that off first. Then I cut the sugar cane into really small pieces, and stuck all that into a blender. Blended it up thoroughly, then poured that pulpy juice into my Hurom H400.
Doesn't work.
After 10 seconds, my juicer started making some strange squealing noises and then completely seized up. Apparently the fiber is so tough that it can't be processed by the auger. And also, the fiber was so dense that it couldn't get pushed through the outlet hole.
So, there ya h ..read more

I recently acquired more fruit/produce than I can reasonably get through on my own. I was wondering if anyone had favorite blends they’d like to share with me. I have enough jars and stuff to make several different varieties.
I have:
Ginger Lemons Cucumber Spinach Pears Apples Blueberries Blackberries Raspberries Beets Celery Carrots Pineapple Kale

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a juicer. I'm on a strict budget and in dire needs of a juicer. I would like it to juice ginger and greens. My kids like to juice apples and carrots. Thank you

We are actually a family of 5 but I just know my littlest one may not do much more than a shot. I see the juicing pitcher that comes with it is 40 ounces but we were hoping to be able to make 4 16-20 ounce glasses in one sitting.. In other words, I'm curious if it's possible to make up to 80 ounces of juice in one sweep with this juicer without having to take it apart and clean it, put it back together, and finish the rest.
I had a Breville and it was great but from I can recall it would get stuffed up around the 40 ounce mark or so and I'd have to take the whole thing apart.. tap out the pul ..read more

I've been juicing for 3 weeks and I love it. I'm happy because I finally found a sustainable way to improve my health. Unfortunately, I've hit a speed bump. I'm breaking out on my forehead and have noticed some skin issues on the back of my hand. I had an allergy test 2 years ago but they didn't scratch me with any fruits or vegetables. I've thought I may have an issue with custom fruit in the past, but I'm not really juicing anything I have eaten before. Plus, I soak everything that I don't peel in the sink with baking soda and use a brush to remove any residue. The only thing I've juiced th ..read more

Hello! First time on reddit and also first time juicing. I have 21 day juice cleanse program. Its day 4 and it is getting really hard. I miss eating and I miss food in general! I feel like I have less dopamine because I do not eat. Hunger is there but minimal, and it goes away also.
Will this pass and which day? Any tips? When does it become easier?

idk if this is a dumb question or not. my juicer’s been in storage for a while now, probably over a year and i decided i wanted to juice again and noticed this rust looking stain ? i’ve scrubbed it multiple times and it stains my sponge yellow and i let it sit over night in some baking soda and water solution but still stained. i can take a napkin and wipe it and still stains the napkin no matter how many times i scrub it. now that i look at it could maybe be turmeric lol but just wondering if it’s anything anyone else had dealt with or if i should be worried about it.
