So grab your friends and come on in from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th of December !
Here’s how to compete:
Collect a scoresheet from the front desk during the comp window fill in the details.
Use a 2 hours time slot to complete as many climbs as you can, mark yourself, and submit it at the end of your 2 hours.
Cross your fingers and hope you win!
Winners will be announced Monday 6th December

Running from OPEN 22nd MARCH – CLOSE 28th March 2021 across all three locations
The format of the comp would be divided into 6 grade divisions:
V3 | V4 | V5 | V6 | V7+| + PUMPFEST
Division registration should be based on your highest BM send on the Moonboard

How to get the most out of summer climbing Avoid the Sun
This sounds pretty obvious, but is often forgotten. If you are climbing outdoors, choose a crag that will be facing away from the sun when you’ll be there. Most climbing guidebooks will give you this information, or you can look at the crag on Google earth and figure out whether it’ll be in the sun. If there’s a particular crag you really want to climb, choose your times to avoid the sun as much as possible. Make use of early mornings and late afternoons.

Hunter/Central Coast Crag Care had its first Crag Care Day on Sunday September 8th at Monkey Face, Watagans National Park. There was amazing support from the local climbing community. About twenty enthusiastic, hard-working climbers turned up on the day to help out. These included members from Newcastle University Mountaineering Club, staff and members of Pulse Climbing, and other local climbers.
