Hi all. Not a big fan of overtly vegetal tasting greens but want to expand beyond white and oolong— Chinese or Japanese. I’d really love any vendor reco’s for green teas that are still as fresh as possible from the 2024 harvest :)
Thanks??✨

I work in a tea shop and I refilled a tin of market spice from the large bag it’s normally shipped in. And it’s burning and irritating my skin?? This is very bizarre and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

S-tier:
Jasmine Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun Green Tea - Jasmine flowers very prominent visually and aromatically, if you smell these leaves it's an overtly sweet scent from all the jasmine. The green tea in this is great as well and provides some bitterness to balance out the sweet and floral jasmine flavors
Fuding "Yin Hao" Jasmine Flowers and Green Tea - Very similar to the Jasmine Dong Ting Bi Luo Chun and great in all the same ways. Maybe if I worked at it I could learn to tell them apart, but it certainly wouldn't be easy. Both are equally great so I just pick at random which to drink

I used to buy the sweet & spicy tea and on Amazon, but for a second time I got some funky tasting tea. Their company website is always sold out. Anyone know the deal is?

Not sure how much love there is for iced tea here, but I've been a big fan of the mango iced tea that I originally discovered at Flemings (the restaurant chain). It is (or at least was as of last year) ROAR Mango Breeze black tea (https://www.royalcupcoffee.com/profiles/royalcup\_profile/dist/assets/files/downloads/brands/roar/ROAR--Iced-Tea.pdf)
I just got a second batch after finishing the first case of 24 4 oz. bags and it is a completely different taste. Does anyone know if it's a permanent change or if Flemings still uses that or made a chance when they changed the flavor?

Getting back into tea after many year hiatus, finally off coffee! Just need to pickup a nice teapot with built-in strainer for making green, oolong, white, and black teas. Like the look of the Japanese Kyusu though they seem pricey! Want one that is easy to clean, reasonably priced, and mostly would serve 1-2 people (on occasion 3). It doesn't have to be a Kyusu but like the idea of having lots of room for the leaves to infuse...
