Artist is Maryam Yousif! Found this piece on IG and it blew my mind because it’s the exact effect I’ve been trying to achieve with 0 success. Any idea what glazes may be used to achieve this kind of result on a sculptural piece? I also really like how the eye is popped out and wondering how they accomplished that as well.

I mixed some mason stain delphinium blue into the clay before throwing. It's glazed in a clear glaze my studio makes from scratch. I really like how this turned out!

These are my porcelain forest mugs currently being fired on bique. Sneek peek how they will roughly turn out in the next pics, except they will be taller with a different handle, and multiple colours.

hihi everyone I just recently started sculpting again and i believe i may have been a little over ambitious with the size and concept of my sculpture. the walls of my sculpture are pretty thin, and im thinking about layering thicker pieces of clay on top. Should I do this when the whole piece is more leather hard? idk im debating on restarting it because i really don’t want it to break under pressure and… so i can implement what ive learned
