Hi everyone, I’ve posted about this a couple of time on some different subreddits with no reply … so hopefully I’m able to get some advice on this one
My hair is extremely frizz and I have no idea what to do now. I use expensive shampoos, conditioners, creams, smoothing creams, leave in conditioners, masks, hair oiling, curly hair method, silicone free, sulfate free, cutting my hair, feel like I’ve tried everything and it always ends up looking the same. I only use heat or style/blow dry my hair probably once every two months and I dye my hair twice a year black blue (natural colour is brown ..read more

I just got my hair done (I have long brown hair and we cut 4.5 inches off and added some honey blonde highlights. I struggle with some dandruff and also oily hair) and I asked her what shampoos and conditioners she’d recommend. She said Moroccan Oil, Amika, and Kenra, specifically the color care ones, are all great, and she loves Milkshake’s purple shampoo. What are everyone’s thoughts on these? Which one to try first? P.S. I definitely trust my hairdresser, I’ve been with her for FOREVER, I just want to hear more thoughts on these brands :)

I don’t know why but I try all these things that the internet says to do to figure out your porosity and thickness but I am just not 100 percent sure so I’m just asking for some opinions. I’ve attached a pic of a hair strand and pictures of my part

What hair care products should i use if i have low porosity straight hair. Preferably products that can easily be purchased in Australia. Thank you so much! I mostly see low porosity hair products for curly hair so it would really help me a lot.

So I damaged my wavy hair quite severely after getting it highlighted and then curling it with a wand after every wash. I’ve spent the last few months (and a lot of money) using Olaplex and it has greatly improved the health of my hair, my hairdresser said it feels normal again! I used to just cowash and use conditioning leave-ins which gave me a beautiful natural wave, but I feel like with Olaplex I need to use the shampoo to cleanse all of the additional product going into my hair when I’m treating it.
Has anyone been through this before? I’m wondering if I can just alternate a normal cowas ..read more

My hair is too blonde and thin to show you the ends, but my hair has small split ends and little pieces coming off all over as you can see in the photo. It also gets super oily and greasy after 1 day and it gets very damaged if i don’t switch products every 2 months or so. I do oil the ends a little just so they don’t frizz and get crazy. What can I do to make it grow healthy and shiny, and why does my hair keep splitting if i am not using heat?

I got a Brazilian blowout 2 weeks ago and the hair stylist convinced me that I had to use this specific sulfate free shampoo for Brazilian blow out. I’ve been using it every few days when I wash my hair but my hair feels so gross and not soft. My hair is usually so soft so I’m just wondering how long it takes my hair to adjust? And is it really important to use sulfate free shampoo after a keratin treatment?
