Uark U-Haul is a one-day mobile art exhibition bringing art from the University of Arkansas’s ceramic seminar class to our local community in a safe and accessible manner.
Each U-Haul features a solo or collaborative effort from the School of Art’s current graduate and post-baccalaureate students. Offering unique interpretations of mobile art spaces, every U-Haul creates a new experience for the viewer. The University of Arkansas School of Art is pleased to announce the exhibition, VOICES FOR CHANGE: The Color Network. The exhibition will run from October 30 – December 4, 2020. There will be a panel discussion via ZOOM on Thursday, December 3rd from 5:30-7pm. The event is free and open to the public.
VOICES FOR CHANGE brings together 8 artists from The Color Network and their responses to the violent murder of George Floyd and the calls for anti-racist social reform. The University of Arkansas School of Art hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 13, for its new Windgate Studio and Design Center building at the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Hill Avenue.
The ceremony kicked off the construction on the building, expanding the footprint of the planned Windgate Art and Design District in the heart of south Fayetteville.

Congrats to ceramics faculty Linda Lopez for receiving a Sculpture and Installation Art Fellowship from the Arkansas Arts Council. Info below:
