Reddit mobile app segue type?

I’m working on a project using UIKit. When I tap a cell in a table view it goes to the next screen in the standard fashion, no specific animations or anything. On the Reddit mobile app, when you tap on a post it expands from the spot on the screen into the full screen. How is this done? I’ve been googling, but I keep finding generic explanations on segues. Even just the name of this would be helpful, so I can further research. Thanks! submitted by /u/Siriusly_Jonie [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Anyone else having long delays for review?

I submitted my app 20 days ago and got a rejection 5 days later for reason Other: We need additional time. Now it has been Waiting for Review for 15 days. I called today and the representative just told me that it is currently taking longer due to high submission rate and that he would elevate it but he couldn't give me any more information. My app is relatively simple (no subscriptions, no IAP, no borderline things like gambling, NFTs or crypto) and I would think other people would be seeing this if its actually for high submission rates. Especially when they claim 90% are through in 48 hour ..read more

Need help setting up fastlane for your iOS app?

fastlane is a free, open sourced and well known CLI tool to automate your development and release process for mobile apps. After setting it up initially, you can basically run one command line to build + upload your app to the App Store, with metadata and screenshots, etc, plus more features. It's very convenient :) Why am I helping? Because I'm working on a tool for easier fastlane setup, and as part of understanding developer's problems it helps me to help you setup fastlane. For free ofc, no strings attached. So if you are interested in setting up fastlane, or have tried to set it up in th ..read more

If you're an iOS developer or someone who works in mobile app development you must have come across using 3rd party libraries for some feature inside your app. If you're an iOS developer you must be familiar with Cocoapods and installing 3rd party libraries from it. But have you ever wondered how are those libraries created? As a beginner the thought of creating and publishing your own Cocoapods library might feel very intimidating and something might be very complex. To demystify that myth, I'm writing a series of Medium articles where we will explore the entire process of creating, test ..read more

How to submit Plaid integrated app to app store.

Hello, I just finished creating an app that uses Plaid to retrieve user transactions. I'm almost ready to submit it to the app store but I understand that Apple needs to be able to create an account on your app to test it. My app requires the user add their bank account, so I was just wondering how I would give Apple access to a bank account to test my app. To link your bank to Plaid your bank requires secondary verification like phone number. How would I go about giving Apple access to this? submitted by /u/Professional_Grab_75 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

DSA enforcement

I need to perform an update of my businesses address - which Apple is saying will take an indefinite amount of time. This is a pre req for DSA. In the meanwhile I could use some guidance around when DSA will start getting enforced? I worry in the process of getting my account address up to date I could get shut out of selling in EU countries as I would not have been able to fill out DSA in time. submitted by /u/Puzzleheaded-Sky9811 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello, I’m interested to make an iOS app, I would like to learn more about it. However, I don’t have conditions to buy a Mac for me and I only have a PC running Linux on it, I would like to know if it is possible to develop an App for iOS without a Mac. Basically I just want to make my app in some type of program and then generate an .ipa file, it is possible? submitted by /u/No_Proposal_5731 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
