Rosé and Mezcal Spritz

The combination of mezcal and rosé is beautiful. I have down it as a boilermaker- or shot and glass of wine- but making it into spritz is a refreshing way to enjoy both of them together in a glass with fresh grapefruit. Both rosé and mezcal are terroir driven drinks. When care is taken with production you can really get a taste for the regions and soil the grapes or agave grows in. Most rosé and mezcal go together, but I like to try to pair the notes of the mezcal with those of the rosé.
