In April I was lucky enough to be awarded with a scholar award to attend the British Archaeological Association’s Annual Romanesque Conference, which was held in Poitiers, France. Here are few images from two of the sites we visited: the Musée Sainte-Croix and Saint-Jean Baptistery. In April I was lucky enough to be awarded with a scholar award to attend the British Archaeological Association’s Annual Romanesque Conference, which was held in Poitiers, France. April is going to be a busy month for me! I’m off on a number of travels which includes heading off to France: Poitiers and Carcassonne, as well as Iceland.Wow it’s been an insane amount time since I’ve blogged. I cannot believe the last thing I posted was in December 2016! That was a seriously long time ago. Since then A LOT has changed in my life, and I don’t even know where to begin. So, after gaining my Masters at Oxford, I decided to take a break in order to prepare my application to complete a PhD. I did my first craft fair with the Artisans in the Palm House, Liverpool – here is a little review of how the day went and some photos. A couple of weeks ago I had my first craft stall, selling a selection of my photo prints and greeting cards. The event was called the Artisans in the Palm House, and had been going on for three days. The Palm House, where I was located, is such a stunning building, and it was an honour to placed inside. I had a wonderful day meeting fellow makers and customers. This being my first time ever having a craft stall, I was super nervous! I had actual ..read more

Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen is a miniature Disneyland! We recently visited the Gardens during the Christmas celebrations, and we were not disappointed. When I asked my friends where should I visit in Copenhagen, one place that kept coming up was the Tivoli Gardens. I had also heard of the Tivoli Gardens after watching Rick Stein’s Long Weekends TV show where he visits the gardens and takes a ride on a quaint wooden rollercoaster. I had originally thought that Tivoli was just a nice park with gardens, and it wasn’t until I did more research that it turns out it is, in fact, an amusement p ..read more
