What do you think about my rig? Ignore the weird guitar in the left background, that’s a self built frankenmonster that sounds awful.

I am not originally a guitarist I'm a bassist and I really Ike the warm tone of the jaguar but don't favour the tremolo system and tuning stability and break angle issues with the bridge. I like the affinity strats tuning stability and it comes with an HSS pick up configuration but it's seems alil basic to get a strat from me... so now I'm not sure which would you guys recommend?

Hi, this is kind of a stupid question. I've recently borrowed a classical (pretty sure) guitar from my aunt, but I never could find any songs that I personally enjoy to play, so it just lied in the corner of my room, so I gave it back. I listen to a lot of songs with that focus on an electric guitar. Do you guys think there's any point in getting an electric guitar, or am I a lost cause? Thanks in advance to anyone who read this.

Tried learning an acoustic a while back, lost motivation simply due to not having fun with it. Came back with a different approach, having fun first and not overwhelming myself. So far, it's been a great time and only looking forward to more. Been using JustinGuitar & tabs of a few simple songs I like to get started. If you guys have any tips, feel free to share!

Not really new as of today b/c I started tearing it apart m the first day I got it.
I added all new SeymourDuncan Alnico Pro 2’s, upgraded wiring from the crappy original, added a new Switchcraft toggle and input jack, new CTS pots and orange drop caps.
So today was officially “New” guitar day.

For me it was learning the Yellow Ledbetter solo. When I realized that almost the entire thing was just one position of the pentatonic scale, but it sounded so good, it kinda clicked how to apply the scale to soloing.

Is it impossible to find a guitar space where you’re not constantly barraged by these holier than thou jerkoffs who can’t have a discussion without somehow inserting their superiority?
Joined the popular guitar discord server a few days ago just to get some advice here and there. I’ve been playing over 20 years but just now started taking it more seriously. I’ve been experimenting with different tunings and styles.
This one moderator there, literally showed up first in line every time I had a question to ask to be a complete smartass.
I asked for some songs that would be good to practice alte ..read more
