First post this year! Today I’m back with an amazing gel polish – THUNDER from Madam Glam. Let’s take a look! Thunder is a wonderful combination of Galaxy and Cat Eye effects, yes, it is absolutely gorgeous! The polish has blue and gold micro glitter. The gold glitter reacts to the Cat Eye magnet. For Cat Eye gel polishes, it’s best to apply a layer of black gel polish underneath. I’ve used Perfect Black gel polish, which is also from Madam Glam. Happy Halloween! I hope you all are having an awesomely spooky day! For this year, I’ve created a poison apple nail art design.   The gorgeous red gel polish is called Let’s Get Rediculous from Kiara Sky. This deep (dark) rose red polish has gold glitter, and I’ve applied two coats to achieve this opacity.   For the dripping skull, I used Pure White which is also from Kiara Sky.   I think Poison Apple theme is trending in the nail art world at the moment. I’m really glad I was able to do this just in time for Halloween! Thank you for your visit! xx   The post Poison App ..read more

For today’s nail art, I’ve tried something new and it is called Transfer Foil! It gives this gorgeous mirror-like metallic shine, and it’s so easy to use. So, let’s get started!   For the base, I used two coats of black gel polish and one coat of blue gel polish, then sealed with a matte top coat.   To achieve this jewellery-like foil design, a specific gel for foiling or a foil glue is required. I’ve used a gold foil gel from Moyra.   The photo above is my first experiment using a foil. I’ve posted this on my Instagram a few weeks back and received a lot of positive feedbac ..read more

RWBY Inspired Nail Art

It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post! This RWBY inspired nail art was made in July (lol), and I’m happy I can finally post it!   RWBY is an anime character from the U.S. I don’t know so much about the anime, but she was the most requested character for nail art. Also, it was July when I did this design and the birthstone for the month is ruby, so I thought “why not give this character a try?”.   For the rest of the nails I went for a goth-type design, which is my favourite kind. Huhuhu I can’t wait for Halloween!!   I love the combination of sheer black, black and eit ..read more

Today, I’d like to introduce you to the latest additions to my Kiara Sky gel polish collection! I’ve created three nail art looks, featuring Spin & Twirl, Thrill Seeker and Sunny Daze. I hope you enjoy!   – Kiara Sky Spin & Twirl – For the first design, I used Spin & Twirl (G580) which is a warm pink nude colour with subtle white glitter. The glitter is more like crushed shell – the shape is irregular and the colour seems to shift. It’s so feminine and pretty!   – Kiara Sky Thrill Seeker – Thrill Seeker (G581) is a muted sky blue colour with white glitter particles. I ..read more

BeautyBigBang Aurora Chameleon Holo Flake Review

This post is a video review for the Aurora Chameleon Holo Flakes from BeautyBigBang. The Aurora Chameleon Holo Flake is a hybrid of aurora (aka Unicorn skin), colour changing chameleon and chunky Holo. It will be applied using an eyeshadow sponge, just like a chrome powder.   I usually struggle with capturing the Holo with a camera, but it was a pleasure today – all thanks to the chunky pieces of Holo! The rainbow sparkles are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!   The colour changing chameleon flake also has a chrome effect, which makes it shine like a mirror. Here is my video review for the fl ..read more

Today, I have a hamster nail art design to share with you! Hamster is one of my favourite animals on planet, and my very first pet that I bought when I was 14, after saving up all my housework money for months ?   I just love when they stuff their cheek pockets with their favourite foods, such as sunflower seeds, peanuts and vegetables!   Usually, I use acrylic paint for hand painting, but today I went all gel polishes! How was it? Well… The great thing about using gel polish is that I can spend as much time as I want perfecting the design, because the design won’t set until I cur ..read more

Happy Easter! It’s been super bust lately and I’m really thankful for this long weekend ? Today, I have an Easter bunny nail art!   For this nail art, I’ve used a bright yellow gel nail polish called Mimosa from Madam Glam. In my photos, the yellow colour is almost like a fluorescent colour, but it’s a much softer colour in person and it’s more like a sunflower yellow.   I’ve hand painted the bunny using acrylic paint.   Unfortunately, I didn’t have enough time to film the step by step for this nail art, but I kind of enjoyed it! It was good to be able to fully focus on just ..read more
