Some ayurveda sources don't seem new age but don't seem authentic or traditional either. Why is this?

I've observed the same with traditional Chinese medicine, Siddha, vastu shastra, some east Asian medicine, feng shui, and yoga. Some don't seem new age but don't seem authentic and don't seem traditional. submitted by /u/This_Caterpillar_330 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I’m pretty much in love with kale and leafy greens in general, but I like to salt them up. My confusion is stemming from also reading that salt is good for those low in pitta. That would be me. High in kapha, low in pitta. So I’m meant to reduce salt due to an over abundance of kapha, but to add it du ..read more

I am looking to pursue an Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner or a Diet/wellness coach type certification in India. There's tonnes of Institutes that come up when I google stuff. Can someone help me find a good, credible institute where I can study it. Something affordable as well. Preferably for a year or under a year submitted by /u/United-Bat-5454 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
