There are lots of reasons why we travel. For me, most of the time it’s about having an adventure and fun. But in this particular story, it’s different. I needed to run away, to think and reflect. The plan was to visit the Valley of the Gods. It’s a landscape en route to Barangay Tudok and I wasn’t really expecting that much on the trip. But I was wrong.  This tur ..read more

About an hour away from Poblacion Glan is the quiet Barangay of Pangyan. This secluded place is the focus of our adventure today. Along with tourism officer of Glan Miss Lodar Dagoy Escobillo, we are in route to one of its hidden gem – the Cabnot Falls (Fikong Akil as called by locals). The coastal views and perfect landscape sceneries along the Sarangani – Davao Del Sur Coastal road provides a perfect distraction, we barely notice the travel time towards Barangay Pangyan. From Pangyan it will take you another 15 minutes or so to reach Purok Cabnot which is the starting point to the waterfal ..read more

Last November 10, 2016, Takaw Travels and fellow SOX Bloggers visited Lake Sebu to witness the newest adventure tourism in the area – Lake Sebu Paragliding Adventure brought by AKFIG Paragliding Adventure company. The Philippine Paragliding and Hang Gliding Association (PPHGA) were there as well to be part of the launching of the newest attraction in town. We didn’t let this opportunity pass and I was one of those who jumped and risked it just to witness & fly the majestic sky of Lake Sebu. The experience and view were totally worth it. Now, Lake Sebu doesn’t only offer a great zip-line ad ..read more

Kapatagan, Digos City  –  After a three hours ride from Davao City, I found myself on the foothill of the gorgeous Mt. Apo. With a single purpose – relaxation. If you’re thinking of visiting this resort after/during Kadayawan 2016 then here are some info that might help.  How to get to Mt. Apo Highland Resort? Getting here isn’t as bad ..read more

There’s not a lot of hotels or Inn around Polomolok area so when the SOX Bloggers (Avel, Kyrie & Chiclet) received an invite we took the chance & have a glimpse of the newest establishment in town.
