I’m 18 and I’m going on a Royal Caribbean cruise in December (Oasis of the Seas) and I’ve heard in a bunch of subreddits and other forums that the 18-20 age range is a grey area? Do royal Caribbean cruises do anything to cater for my age group? Thanks

I'm going on a cruise to Iceland, and I noticed that the Arctic Circle is about 2 miles above the Northernmost point of the main part of Iceland. I wasn't sure how close to shore cruise ships usually are between ports - is >2 miles typical? Any thoughts on if we'll likely cross the Arctic Circle?

Hi! As you can see by the title..I am scared to get on my cruise in June my dad is getting married to my step mom in Mexico and we are taking the cruise there..the problem is..I have never been on one..I don’t know what it’s like or what to expect. I’ve been recently watching the new season of one of my shows and the second and first episode has been about a cruise ship getting lost at sea mainly? But I don’t know what to expect, any advice? Carnival Panorama is the one almost my whole family is going on

We are looking to save money on excursions on our upcoming Norwegian trip to Iceland. We are looking at the following excursions:
Puffins of Melrakkay Island. My daughter loves birds and this would be a huge hit. We realized the tour is by boat only. You don’t actually go on the island. Is it worth it? Are there any tours that actually land on the island or is it protecting and off limits?
Myvatn Nature Baths. It’s expensive through the ship. Any recommendations for a private guide?
Dynjandi Waterfall & Local Village. Again, expensive through the ship…
Akureyri. More $$$. Any local ..read more

Booked a Malta > Turkey > Greece cruise for 2025 (bucket list, very excited) and I wanted to see what excursion options were. I logged on and there were very few options. Like only 3-4 in Malta for example. Is it just too early?

Do we need to book the excursions ahead or can we wait and see how we feel at the time? We’re doing a Mediterranean cruise in May, some of the excursions look quite tiring, being 10 hour tours of Rome etc. I believe this would involve the time it takes to get from port to Rome (on the bus) etc…just looking for a heads up how we should play our first cruise?

I’ve never been in a cruise before although I have always wanted to, I love the ocean. I want to take my wife on a short weekend cruise in the near future. Is Margaritaville at Sea worth it? I see they have a 2 night cruise which I think would be a good trial run. I just have not heard many good things about this cruise line. Should I just lower my expectations and go for it?
