Well, I received a wonderful surprise last week! A new album by a new band formed by some of my favorite Seattle artists! The band is Everything Oscillating, and it is made up of veteran musicians from the Seattle band, Moon Letters. They are: guitarist, Dave Webb and bassist and vocalist, Mike Murphy. They describe their music as: “A unique blend of through-composed instrumental sorcery, melodies worth humming, and some improvisational magic”. I have been a fan of Stefano Panunzi’s music for years now. However, I only found out about his new release recently. Pages from the Sea, was released on April 21, 2023, on SP Music (Stefano Panunzi Music). Stefano Panunzi is an Italian keyboardist extraordinaire. Old school progressive rock band Space Kitchen has released a new single called “Believer Deceiver.” The band is deeply influenced by 1970s progressive rock acts such as Rush and Genesis. I have been a fan of Neal Morse, since he went on his own, as a solo artist. He has returned this year with a new creation, the story of the Biblical Joseph; who was the first of the two sons of Jacob and Rachel.
