I just wish someone was as caring and loving and understanding as me. Hello everyone. I'm interested in hearing others' advice on how to convince oneself of something. Growing up in an abusive household has made it challenging for me to feel a sense of self-worth and believe that I deserve good things. For instance, I avoid entering competitions because I don't feel deserving of the prize, and I rarely dine out because I don't feel worthy of a nice meal.
