Hi all,
This is the second bottle to have this problem, as the bottle I purchased as a replacement is as suspicious as the first.
It's a plastic bottle with one of those paper/foil/plastic heat-sealed circular seals on top of the bottle spout, under the plastic cap. I went to open a bottle of plum sauce for the first time, and noticed a bit of dried sauce around the seal and in a ring inside the cap of the bottle.
The bottle now seems sealed, as there is no liquid oozing, even when exerting some pressure on the sides of the bottle. However, I'm concerned that at one point it wasn't sealed, or ..read more

My boss placed a tray of paint in the workplace freezer/fridge, it’s wrapped in a plastic bag but the smell seems to penetrate the fridge section, I had 2 slices of pizza wrapped in a plastic bag with tape in that fridge. Are they still safe to eat?

The chips were cape cod that came in a snack pack which makes me feel better. I didn’t notice any weird taste with the chips. Am I going to get sick?

At Kroger how often are they supposed to change gloves in the deli slicing meats? This man working in my local kroger today had gloves on that looked pretty old and I even saw him wipe his nose on the back of his glove. Like wtf should I report this to someone?

I had a few cans of cream of chicken soup I planned on using for a recipe. All of them had the black dots/clusters in the bottom. Is this safe to eat?

Hi, Eaten yesterday evening/night a few slices of precooked chicken. Went back to the supermarket today and found out they’re under a recall because of incorrect Use by dates. It’s now, I believe, 2-3 months out of date eeek! I’m going to take it back for a refund but I’ve already eaten a few bits of it

Hello! I was dusting a pan to get ready for a cake and had my currently baked cakes in their pans next to me, cooking down from the recent bake. While dusting the other pan, some of the raw flour got into the already cooked cakes.
Will these need to be tossed since raw flour cannot be consumed?

I prepared ground turkey meatballs except for baking them (mixed ground turkey, eggs, parm, breadcrumbs, etc) on Monday (3 days ago). Since then they've been in the fridge, and have turned slightly gray. I can't smell anything wrong, but they primarily smell of parm and garlic anyways. Am I good to bake and eat? Or would you toss?
