The Swatch Nines this week witnessed one for the history books with multiple World Records including Valentino Guseli, as he hit new heights for mens snowboarding. Valentino joined in the session on “The Perfect Hip” and managed to soar at an unbelievable 11.5 meters (37.7 feet), topping Christian Haller’s record of 11.3 meters (37.1 feet), also from 2016. “I was just going as big as I could,” said Guseli. “I’d say it’s the biggest hip I ever hit. The Swatch Nines went own this week in Schilthorn, Switzerland. Where Calgary’s own Brooke D’Hondt took the event by storm and came home with a World Record! On Thursday, 19 yr old Brooke, established the first official record for highest hip air in women’s snowboarding.
