I remember visiting Disneyland Paris the year it opened when I was ten years old. It was the most truly magical holiday I’d ever experienced – princesses, It’s a Small World, the parades, the shows, the castle… of course I cried when  I had to leave! I returned in my childhood and relived the experiences… just as magical as before. Every year I write a post noting my upcoming plans for the year and the places that I’m dreaming of visiting going forward. I usually publish it on the 1st of Jan but I’m a bit belated this year due to being so busy over the Christmas period. I find January often brings a flurry of bookings owing to the depressing weather outside and the whole feeling of going back to work or school after a restful time off. One of the activities I’ve most been looking forward to with Oscar is afternoon tea. At just turned three he is happy to sit in restaurants for longer periods of time (albeit with the help of a drawing board or sticker book) and going out with him and his cousins is really fun! I was invited to experience the Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea Approximately 3 years BC (before Covid) I enjoyed the Christmas Nutcracker Afternoon Tea with my dear friend Binny in the Park Room at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. When we first had Oscar I thought we’d be going on little holidays all the time: summer trips, Christmas markets, city breaks. There’s nothing quite like a wedding, even better… a family wedding… even better… a destination wedding! Which was why we were super excited to head to Latvia for Mr S’s brothers wedding! I was not paid for content but my night at Horwood House was complimentary.
