Our latest adventure was to a gorgeous country house hotel called the Montagu Arms in Beaulieu in the New Forest. My mum has had a tough few years looking after my terminally ill dad. With the past few months being the hardest we’ve ever been through as a family, watching my dad decline and then his final week spent in a hospice before he died. After the success of taking Oscar skiing earlier this year we were excited to take him again. Trigger warning mentions birth, c-sections and NICU As soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I would have a c-section again. My birth with Oscar had been very calm and non-traumatic and I wanted a repeat of the positive experience that I’d had with him.
