hii! not too sure if uncommon is the right word, but im very interested in hearing cute or sweet sounding words that have (some) relevancy to nature.
some examples of the types of words i mean are: lambkin, mangrove, forager, voyager, spoondrift, etc. obviously i do not have a lot of words in mind, but i just really like the sound of these words and would love to hear more.
thank you!

If we’re both Canadian, what does that make us? Not “brothers”, my fellow _?”

I’ve been using “Important” but that word is too strong
So, synonyms for that small phrase “Worth a mention?”

“More fundamental” sounds so dumb
Any better way of saying that?

I’m hoping y’all can help me come up with monsters for a children’s book I’m writing since google wasn’t much help. I want all the monsters to be based off of things that are a combination of two whole words (no portmanteaus).
Examples that I’ve thought of are: copycat, dust bunny, crabapple, nightmare (mare as-in horse), dandelion (dandy lion), etc. They don’t all have to have an animal in them.
Edit: The term I was looking for is compound word. lol
