The beginning of Chinese New Year, everyone was excited about celebrating the Spring Festival. The children also had this opportunity. This is their home, their nannies, their brothers, and sisters. Led by their nannies, they, like other children, had a rich and unforgettable Spring Festival. We plan carefully because we don’t want to miss any of the traditions of Spring Festival! Putting decorations on the windows, hanging lanterns, and the CNY rabbits welcome spring!   Seeing Amos’ serious look, he is completely immersed in it Libby, can you paste the bunny here? Time never stops, and in the blink of an eye, it is the Spring Festival again. The past year is coming to an end, and the new year is upon us. At this moment, there is a lingering emotion in our heart, and our thoughts go back to the past.   Look at the children in the projects, they suffer from illness, but they can still smile. Although their physical development is limited, they can still say: "I can!" after countless exercises full of sweat and tears. Although their abilities are severely affected, they can still show optimism, friendliness, courage to try, and willingness to try.&n ..read more

Written by Amos’ Nanny One night, as usual, the children finished their dinner and played with each other, some were playing with toys, some were watching TV. Amos sat alone in the corner by the window, looking out through the glass. I watched him for a while. I was curious as to what fascinated Amos so much that he kept staring at it. I walked over, sat beside him, and asked him, "Amos, what are you looking at?" It was pitch black outside, and nothing could be seen. Amos' gaze and expression did not change. I followed his gaze to look farther away, there were lights on some buildin ..read more

The winter in Inner Mongolia came earlier, and the heating at the orphanage has already started. Due to the cold and COVID the children go out less often. The staff design new lessons with this in mind. The content ranges from one-on-one, one-to-many, music, stories, sports, and games, etc. The staff is doing all they can to make sure the children have a stimulating winter. Here are some activities the children have been doing. ❤ A fun music class where the children can explore music.   ❤ When the children work on standing rehabilitation, they can play with special toys. Madeline is a quiet, well-behaved little girl. She turned 6 in September. Madeline faces many challenges in physical development and mobility due to contracture of the joints. When she was an infant, she was part of our formula project. We couldn't help but be drawn to her sweet look when we found her photos in our formula project archives. August 2021 Madeline joined our Savannah Project. When she first arrived, she was shy and unsure of the new environment. Initially she wanted her nanny to be involved in everything she did: reading, taking a walk, playing games with the children. With ..read more

The heat of summer gradually fades away, and the autumn wind brings coolness to us again. The days move on without a sound. In our programs, there are often tender and loving moments between the nannies and children, and we are all touched bringing smiles to every face. For the children, every day is full of expectations, knowing they are in a safe place allows them to dream. For the staff, seeing the growth of the children brings great joy. Here are some cute stories about the children. Ezra has been very naughty recently. Shortly after I put a bib on him, he would grab it and throw it on ..read more

The Mid-Autumn Festival has arrived, and it's time for a family reunion. The staff and nannies prepared a mid-autumn tea break for the children at the Savannah Project. The table was full of food, carefully constructed fruit boats, and all kinds of snacks that the children loved. Of course, Mooncakes were the star of the show. It was a feast, the table was full of festive foods, and the children who had good appetites enjoyed all the special treats. It is always a special time celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival with family members, sharing food, talking and laughing. A table of sumptuous f ..read more

Warm wind lifts kites high. The riverbed directs the flow of the river Nectar attracts bees The harbor is a safe place for boats. The beginning of my life was not very good. As soon as I opened my eyes, I found myself living in a deformed body, I seemed unwelcomed, abandoned by the roadside. As I was swaddled, my cry faded away. When I wanted to give up, a pair of firm hands picked me up and gave me hope for life again. I was wrapped in new blankets, and bottles held by loving hands fed me. I feel the bright lights and the warm arms... Life didn't always go smoothly. But e ..read more
