I'm going to see Swan Lake next month and it's the first time I've ever been to the ballet! I took ballet lessons as a kid, but was never very athletically inclined, and didn't enjoy it much (i also had unmanaged ADHD). As an adult I've daydreamt about taking adult classes or starting off with pilates, but haven't yet! I think I'd be more disciplined and enjoy it alot more. I'm returning to pointe after a bad ankle injury. I've started dancing on pointe again 4 months ago and just went through my first pair of pointe shoes after returning. I was using russian pointes (brise), however I cant seem to get a hold of the same pair. I ve had some issues with it being a bit too tappered but i generally liked the shoe (i thought to try a few different styles that are more square since that was a problem).
