I'd really appreciate some feedback on what I need to improve in my handwriting as well as how I can make it look more like a native speaker's.
I'm also wondering if my handwriting in Arabic seems to match my handwriting in Latin letters.

Hi! I just started learning Arabic. Very beginning. The center that dictates the courses has an old paper that the teacher inherited from previous teacher. As practice I'd like to renovate it and make the changes the new teacher would like, etc. My problem is that I can't seem to find a way to make the beginning/middle/end characters with an extention to the letter like on the paper. I'm talking about the line that continues off before or after the character. Is there a font that you could recommend? Or a trick to achieve this? So far to be able to do so I've added other letters and chang ..read more

Hi! I’m a postgraduate student learning Arabic, currently A2 level. To improve my Arabic, I want to study Arabic during my gap year in an Arabic spoken country. There’s a fully-funded language program in Oman for citizens with my nationality, and I’m interested in it. But I don’t know much about how the dialect there is like.
Also, I’m an East Asian female and prefer to stay in a place friendly and safe to be an Asian female (ideally no, at least less sexual offence or harassment for women).
I’m studying MSA, and my goal is understanding classical literature and having enough knowledge to app ..read more

Has anyone taken this course in Beirut (half online) and is it worth the $$?
I'm a mid-level beginner in Arabic (I know the alphabet, most conjugations, and can read) having taken lessons with a teacher for a year, one course in college, and supplemental learning via Duolingo, but looking to practice Lebanese dialect to a professional level to get more comfortable speaking.
It's $1800+ so I'm looking for reviews before I commit to the course, and I need to decide in the next 2 weeks :')
**Alternatively: looking for a teacher in Beirut to work with if anyone has a recommendation!
