Without knowing anyone or speaking any Korean, my son decided to take a gap year from his engineering undergrad program and moved to Seoul to try and break into KPop. Here’s his first KPop promotional dance. Let me know what you think. Please be kind, it’s his first video. He’s the only one with a half zipped jacket. submitted by /u/leedan91 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys! I’ve had my character shoes for a couple of years now and they are getting really slippery. I’ve slipped and almost fell twice on stage in the past few months and have been slipping in the studio on marley floors. Does anyone know what to do to fix this so they can last longer? submitted by /u/coconutgirlll [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi all!! so i’m currently a psychology major, transferring in the fall and planning to add a dance minor as i’ve been dancing since i was 3 and ive recently decided to pursue dance education instead of counseling but I honestly want to have the option to go either route (crazy i know), because i know a dance degree will only allow me to dance and i want an option to use later in life if need be. so i have a question. if i get a BA in psychology, minor in dance and do a dance credential program i plan on working in a HS setting for a while and then deciding to do an MFA later on once i see if ..read more

Dearest all kinds of performing dancers out there, I have a question for you… How delululu am I to be inspired to dance with a performing contemporary dance company after 2+ decades of not really dancing? By performing, I dont mean ABT ofc, but to join a local movement expression company… I support “you can do anything” vibes but give me some tough-love here… How delululu am I? And if there is a possibility, what is a good weekly practice session cadence where I’ll see technical progress? Here is some background…. This is a tender topic for me as I used to dance (rigorously) when I was young ..read more
