The EPA administrator assured members of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works of more regulatory certainty for biofuels. Illinois corn farmers are concerned recent tax credit announcements limit corn-based ethanol’s contribution to the sustainable aviation fuel industry. A new USDA program will increase access to nutritious food for more than 30 million children. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children (Summer EBT) is being implemented in 36 states. “You’re going to get a card.”  He says, “That card every month is going to have $40 on it per child.
