Hi everyone - I take propranolol 1-2 times a week, typically 10-20 mg, occasionally up to 40 mg. Sometimes I can skip a week.
Do I have to worry about my body building a tolerance?
Are there people who have successfully maintained their dosage for many many years?

Has anyone who has taken Propanalol for 5-10+ years, any side effects?
I am someone who's taken it on and off for a decade. My dentist commented on some of my enamel wearing off on my teeth. He mentioned certain meds can cause it, or acid reflux (which I don't have). Of course I googled the meds that damage enamel and sure enough, propanalol is on the list! I always thought bc I take it as needed (so maybe anywhere from 3 up to 10 times a month) that I'd be ok but now I'm questioning if propanalol is causing this.
Any other long term users have issues like this - or others?

Hey all, new here. So 9 months ago I had a concussion and I'm basically back to my old self. It screwed me up all sorts of ways but the worst has been the anxiety. Most things have returned to baseline BUT public speaking. My job requires it and before the concussion I was ok at it. Didn't like it but didn't stress over it. My neurologist prescribed me 10mg propranolol but I have only taken on the weekend to test.
I'm pretty stubborn and so far have just been pushing through my anxiety in hopes to snap out of it. Again my general anxiety is pretty much normal and I'm not even stressed about p ..read more

Like many I am not fond of public speaking, specifically in any kind of small office setting. I downloaded a few speech practice apps on my Quest and some have helped. Helped meaning they feel like I am giving a speech in real life so allows me to experience and practice stress reduction techniques outside real life. The apps aren't great though - does anyone have a recomendation for a good speech practice expereince on Quest?

I have a major fear of public speaking, and certain social settings. I’ve been on Propranolol for a few years, and only take it as needed. Maybe 3-4x a month. They’re 10mg pills. In the past I’ve taken 20mg and it would take the edge off but recently it feels like I need more. With this being said, I’m curious what others take. What’s a good dose prior to a public situation? I’m 6’3” and weigh 195lb

Hello everyone!
As the title suggests, I am interested if there is anyone here who participated inte International Public Speaking Competition hosted by the English Speaking Union. I am going to compete in the national final of my country(I was there last year but as a junior) and I am super excited!
If you have ever participated, can you share your experience about the competition?

Whenever I say any word with an "S" at the end I overextend/overprounce the s sound by extending the s sound. For example if I say the word "snakes" It would come out as "snakesssss" with the s being pronounced longer. It wasn't really a problem before. But It has just driven me crazy, I could not fix it no matter how many times I speak. I am not a native English speaker, I speak at church services in my school. Do you guys have any tips? Your insight would be greatly appreciated.
